8 reasons to start blogging

For a very long time i have been thinking about blogging . It sounded like an interesting thing to do but being a serial procrastinator I didn't do much about it.Until a few days ago, I began seriously thinking about why I wanted to make a blog in the first place so as to motivate myself to do this and  these are the reasons I came up with:

1. To express my thoughts and opinions (duh): Expressing yourself honestly helps you grow as a person and helps you connect with people.
2. Connect with people like me and meet new people in general: I love getting to know new people their life stories and i feel that interacting with people is the best way of expanding your knowledge and making you a better person . 
3.  To have a creative outlet: Writing is one of the ways of expressing yourself where there is maximum scope for creativity and also being imaginative and curious is good for your mind.
4. Document my journey : So that when i'm having a bad day i have a record of all the amazing and not so amazing things that happen in my life and be grateful for all of it because every little thing adds up to make you who you are.
5. Give my daily life more purpose: Having a purpose in life motivates you to work harder , experiment and overall makes your journey more meaningful.
6.  To learn: i hope to learn new things in the process of blogging from other people or to find new stuff to post on my blog
7.  To become a better writer: I have great respect for people who can write well the kind of people who can take you to another world merely through their words. i hope to be able to do that one day and writing on my blog will help me to achieve that goal.
8.  To make a difference: Someone somewhere will read my blog and it will influence that person give him or her some new information or just make that person smile and these little things will be my contribution to the world.
